As a retired High School Science teacher, my hobbies have turned into a business. Photography became serious for me in college when I first started in film. I eventually moved into digital photography and with my love of nature, travel, and the outdoors, I began selling my photography and participating in shows in order to share that love with others. Jewelry design came later when I learned how to make Cancer Awareness bracelets for a fundraiser. I realized I loved creating jewelry that I myself would love to wear. As I refined my skills, I started to work exclusively in gemstones, silver, and gold. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind design. Along with my husband, I participate in local shows where all of my designs can be found. I am also a member of the Harford Artists' Association whose gallery is located in Bel Air's Armory Marketplace and you can find some of my work there.
ABOUT MY WORK
Original Artistic Photography
All the photography is original work with very little if any software manipulation. Having started in film, I believe that the artist's ability and perspective is more important than being able to manipulate images.
One of a Kind
The jewelry designs are one of a kind and are created using gemstones, fine silver, sterling silver, or gold-fill. Necklaces and bracelets are strung on silver or gold-plated stainless steel wire for flexibility and durability.
